Mighty Mighty Good Week

Hello my amazing and wonderful Junipers!
So good to see you again!  WHAT A WEEK IT HAS BEEN!

(One of my favorite phrases! from here)

My heart is pretty well bursting to overflowing with the kindness and generosity and encouragement of all you different people! I FEEL SO BLESSED!

Extremely delicious coffee at Heist in Victoria

It's been so exciting making new friends and waking up to discover a massive influx of followers on Instagram thanks to Paula over at the Knitting Pipeline!  I've been working on adding to my little list of online places and have started a group on Ravelry for JuniperGraceTube.

A toque I finished for the darling ZAO doesn't it just look perfect?!

You have probably noticed that things look a little different around here...   THE MOST GENEROUS and very talented Heather aka PINEFEATHER has done an incredible job of creating banners, buttons, and other icons for us here!  SERIOUSLY... aren't they perfect?   So if you feel like sharing the bloggy love I even have a button you can grab on the side over there --------->

We celebrated a bit of an early Christmas with both sets of parents at my parents' home.  Meet Moira and Lynn and Frank and Helen :) (I bet you can guess which one's my little mum)

( A print from this lovely Etsy shop)

Also I have started watching Dr. Who.   I can say that I am finally starting to get it.   All I can think of is getting a mini Tardis to add to my shelf of trinkets..   a Tardis mini snow globe would blow my mind!   I still feel really lost and like I have a lot of catching up to do but all you can do is step one foot in the right direction and enjoy the journey!

( the coolest key chain I've seen in a while!  from HERE)

The little claspy thing on my favorite key chain just broke... MAYBE it's time to get something really awesome like this!?

Now I must skedadle... time to start decorating our little Cave for the Holidays and I have a few pairs of commissioned stripey mitts on the needles (you might recognize them from a lot of my instagram photos) I'm also cooking something TRULY EXTRAORDINARY with Mel from Singlehanded Knits!  With all this crafty inspiration rattling around in my brain I guess I can sleep when I'm dead...

SO MUCH TO CREATE.... SO LITTLE TIME.

  2. Hi Grace! Nice look to the blog. I'm a new Dr Who fan also. Never got the old show either but started watching on Netflix and am hooked, hooked, hooked. I'm knitting a tardis for my granddaughter (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/tardis-stuffed-plush)! (she has the coolest tardis iphone case and tardis sound for her ring) and I'm also knitting her an illusion blanket of the 10th Dr.(http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/doctor-who-david-tennant-illusion) and adding a dalek to the side (to make it lap blanket size). (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/dalek-illusion) I also want to make the wibbly wobbly timey wimey mittens for her (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/wibbly-wobbly-mittley-wittley-doctor-who-tribute) I hope I have all these links right so you can enjoy these also. Just love that show.

  3. I am a new follower of your blog after finding it through Instagram. Can I tell you how much I love this post in particular? I have a co-worker who uses that phrase about a bird with a french fry! She is retiring soon and I will miss her "fran-isms" as I call them. I also adore the Yoda hat and wonder where you found the pattern. My granddaughter loves Star Wars and would love this hat.
